Male Operator found Unresponsive in Vehicle
Buffalo, NY –Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the Crash Investigation Unit responded to Transit Road at Southwestern Boulevard in the Town of Elma Thursday evening for a reported one vehicle injury accident.
Around 10:44 P.M. Deputies Okal and McClelland arrived at the scene where they observed a pick-up truck off the road. Upon investigation, it was determined that the truck veered off the road, struck a guard rail, a utility pole, and then rolled over. The deputies found a male driver in the truck breathing but unresponsive.
The 24-year-old male operator of a truck was transported to Erie County Medical Center where he is in stable condition with apparent minor head and arm injury.
No charges have been filed at this time, and the crash remains under investigation.
