Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of Randy Sanders, a Level 2 Sex Offender, on outstanding warrants Wednesday night.

Erie County Medical Center Police contacted the Sheriff’s Office Wednesday night and informed the office that Sanders, 47 of Buffalo, was in custody at the hospital.  Warrants were issued for Sanders' arrest after he failed to comply with requirements to verify his address, provide an updated photo and complete an annual verification; Sanders is charged with four separate felonies.

In addition to the four felonies, Sanders was found possessing a glass pipe with suspected crack cocaine residue, and several controlled substance pills not in the original containers.  Subsequently, the Sheriff's Office arrested Sanders on two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Currently, Sanders is held at the Erie County Holding Center pending a court date.
