Man Who Runs Over Victim with an ATV Is Charged With Felony

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies responded to a residence on Cayuga Road on the Seneca Nation of Indians’ Reservation Friday night around 10:45 for an incident involving a male running over a female victim with an ATV.

Witnesses explained to Deputy Szkatulski that Jack Warrior, Jr., who became confrontational at a gathering and was asked to leave.  Warrior began leaving on his ATV when he turned the vehicle toward a group of people, striking a female causing injury.   The victim was transported to Erie County Medical Center with multiple lacerations, and arm and leg injuries. Warrior sustained injuries during the incident and was taken to Lake Shore Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Jack Warrior, Jr. was charged with one felony count for assault with intent to injure, reckless endangerment, and multiple violations related to the operation of the ATV.  The defendant is remanded to the Erie County Holding Center on $30,000 bail and he is scheduled to appear in Brant Town Court on November 5.

The incident remains under investigation.
