Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the Sheriff’s and Amherst narcotics units raided a home of a suspected drug dealer Tuesday afternoon in the Town of Amherst.  Working with the Amherst Police Department, the Sheriff’s narcotic Detectives executed a search warrant signed by Supreme Court Justice Timothy Drury at 131 Berwick Lane in Amherst.

The search warrant culminated a month long investigation into Michael Codelia, Jr.’s drug dealing activities; seized were a quantity of Xanax, oxycodone and marijuana during the raid.

The defendant is charged with two felony counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance at is incarcerated in the Erie County Holding Center awaiting arraignment in Amherst Town Court.
