Subject Twice Convicted on Federal Drug Charges 

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit arrested Jose Andino, 43-years-olds of Buffalo, yesterday afternoon following a raid at 43 Condon Ave.  The unit executed a search warrant signed by Erie County Court Judge Kenneth Case. 

Deputies and Detectives recovered approximately 4 grams of fentanyl, a scale, some packing material, cutting agents, and over $4,000.00 in U.S. currency.  Andino is held at the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment in Buffalo City Court. 

The defendant is charged with one felony count of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, a felony count of criminal possession of a narcotic, and three misdemeanor counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia.  Andino has two previous federal drug trafficking convictions. 

So far this year, the Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit has conducted over 100 search warrants and seized approximately 105 ounces of heroin/fentanyl.
