Smoking Marijuana In Vehicle After Park Was Closed

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies Klemp and Lundberg were patrolling Black Rock Canal Park shortly after midnight on July 23, when they observed a vehicle in the lot after hours.

When the Deputies approached the vehicle and spoke with the three occupants, Jameal Wilson stated they just finished smoking marijuana. Then, Deputy Klemp observed a bag of marijuana in the back seat area of the vehicle, and a search discovered a grinder containing marijuana in the purse belonging to Gabriella Dolce.

Wilson, 17 of Buffalo, was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor count of criminal possession of marijuana – more than 25 grams, and Dolce, 18 of Kenmore, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Both defendants were released on appearance tickets for the Buffalo City Court.  The third occupant was released without charges.
