Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the following arrests by Deputies.

 

October 26, 9:02 P.M., Town of Grand Island – Deputy Schreiber executed a traffic stop on Baseline Road and during his investigation discovered Kerry Donohue, 36, of Tonawanda, had three active warrants from the City of Buffalo.  After her arrest, the Deputy discovered a mason jar of with a bag of marijuana and a small bag of concentrated cannabis in Donohue’s purse.  The defendant is charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of marijuana - more than 25 grams, and criminal possession of a controlled substance.  She is held at the Erie County Holding Center pending her arraignment.

 

October 27, 2:04 A.M., City of Buffalo – Deputy Zamorek stop a vehicle at South Division and Pine streets after observing vehicle and traffic violations.  During his investigation, the Deputy discovered the passenger had a quantity of crack cocaine in his possession.  Damone Jones, 27, of Cheektowaga, was arrested and charged with a felony count of criminal possession of a narcotic, as well as unlawful possession of marijuana and false personation.  Jones is held at the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment.

 

October 27, 3:12 A.M, City of Buffalo – A vehicle traveling on Route 33 was stopped by Deputy Biegasiewicz for vehicle and traffic law violations.  An initial test indicated the driver had a BAC level twice the legal limit and Chris Henry, 41, of Buffalo, was arrested and charged with DWI.  During the Deputy’s investigation, it was discovered Henry’s license is revoked due to sixteen previous suspensions.  The defendant was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and two separate vehicle and traffic violations.  Henry is held at the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment.

 

October 27, 3:56 A.M., City of Buffalo – Deputy Christian conducted a traffic stop on Washington Street for vehicle and traffic violations.  When speaking with the driver, the Deputy detected signs of impairment and the driver was asked to submit to standard field sobriety tests and a field breath test; Johnnie Huff, 30, of Buffalo, refused.  Subsequently, Huff was arrested and charged with a felony DWI due to a previous conviction.  It was also discovered Huff was operating a vehicle with suspended registration and without insurance.  He was additionally charged with a misdemeanor count of operating a vehicle with a suspended registration. 

 

Huff was taken to the holding center and there a search discovered a misdemeanor amount of cocaine.  Huff is also charged with a misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
