Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard is requesting the public’s help to identify a body that was found on June 20 in Lake Erie.

The Sheriff’s Marine Unit recovered a white male, described as being 5’7”, approximately 129 pounds and the Erie County Medical examiner’s office estimated the individual to be approximately 45-50 years old.  The man had dark facial hair on the chin and was bald. The unknown individual was wearing Wrangler blue jeans and a dark-colored pullover underneath a dark-colored jacket.  He was also wearing pants but no belt and white sock but with no shoes.
