The Area School Was On a Field Trip

 

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputy Kelley responded to reports of a purse stolen at the Chestnut Ridge Casino on October 14.

 

The case was turned over to Detectives whose investigation uncovered evidence that the purse was available for purchase on-line.  Detectives made contact with Renee Krohn who admitted to stealing the purse while she was at Chestnut Ridge driving a school bus for an area school’s field trip.

 

Krohn, 40, of Buffalo was arrested and charged with petit larceny, a class-A misdemeanor.  The Defendant was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Orchard Park court.
