Investigation Started After Receiving Anonymous Calls to Narcotics Tip Lines

 

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports today that members of the Erie County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit have concluded an investigation stemming from calls to the Sheriff’s Narcotics Tip Line which resulted in the arrest of two subjects on March 6.

 

The Narcotics Unit first arrested Chateena Price and Tyrone Nailor, both 34, of Buffalo at approximately 5:10 P.M. at Prospect and Maryland streets on the city’s West side.  Following their arrest, the Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at their residence on Riley Street.  During the search, the unit discovered crack cocaine, marijuana and several drug use and distribution items containing cocaine residue.

 

Chateena Price is charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.

 

Nailor is charged with a felony count of criminal possession of a narcotic with intent to sell, a felony count of criminal possession of a controlled substance, two misdemeanor counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.

 

Defendant Nailor is held on $15,000.00 bail at the Erie County Holding Center; Price was released on her own recognizance by the court.
