Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports that Deputies responded to the Rite Aid Pharmacy on Broadway in the Village of Alden yesterday for an attempted robbery incident.
Reports indicate that a female subject entered the store around 2:30 p.m. and demanded some prescription drugs. The female, described as white and short with strawberry-blonde hair tied in a ponytail, approached the pharmacy counter and stated she was attempting to steal Suboxone. The subject threatened to come over the counter when the employee refused her demands but when the employee repeatedly denied her requests the suspect left the store.
The Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the incident.
