Three Transported to Area Hospitals

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the Crash Investigation Unit is responding to a crash on Route 438 between Woodchuck and Sulpher Spring Road.  Deputies responded to the scene around 8:20 P.M.

One adult male has been transported to Erie County Medical Center via Mercy Flight, and two minors have been transported to Women’s and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.  The extent of the victims’ injuries is unknown at this time.

Route 438 will remain closed due to the investigation.

The Sheriff’s office will release more information Thursday.
