Trained Deputies Provide Free Inspections and Installation

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reminds parents, grandparents, guardians about Wednesday’s free car seat safety check at Emery Park.

Deputies will be on hand from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. to check the condition and the installation of car seats.  Deputies will also provide free, expert instruction for proper installation of the car seat.

People are encouraged to visit the Erie County Sheriff’s Facebook page and website and the Erie County Parks Department website for locations and directions.

Deputies checked nearly 20 seats at the last event hosted at Como Lake Park; each seat check takes approximately 20 minutes.
