Broadway in Alden Remains Closed for Investigation 

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports his Crash Investigation Unit has been dispatched to a two vehicle crash on Broadway near Virginia in the Town of Alden. 

The crash occurred around 3:00 P.M September 11, when an eastbound vehicle crossed over the centerline and struck a westbound vehicle.  The eastbound vehicle subsequently rolled over and partially ejected the operator.  The operator was pronounced deceased at the scene, and the individual’s identification is withheld until notification is made to the family.

Crash Investigation Deputies are continuing the investigation and Broadway will remain closed for an undetermined amount of time.
