Governor’s Traffic Committee, NY STOP-DWI, MADD Honor Deputy Zamorek

 

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard announces that Deputy David Zamorek was presented with the 2016 Individual Officer Award from the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee, NYS STOP-DWI, and Mothers Aagainst Drunk Driving during the annual awards banquet.

 

Deputy Zamorek is honored for his outstanding efforts in deterring impaired driving.  In the past four years, Deputy Zamorek made forty DWI arrests and successfully completed the Drug Recognition Expert program in 2016.  Since his DRE certification, deputy Zamorek has conducted thirteen evaluations for the Erie County Sheriff’s Office and area law enforcement agencies.
