Dikcis, S

Was Angry When Deputies Arrested Him was hiding in a Pile of Snow

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies and a Springville Police Officer responded to the Wal-Mart on Cascade Drive just after 8:00 P.M. Thursday night.

The Springville officer observed an individual fleeing across the parking lot who matched the description provided by store employees.  When Deputies Francis and Thurston arrived, the subject was located hiding in a pile of snow behind the store.  While taking the subject into custody, he became agitated and upset at the fact he was caught.

While in custody, Deputies discovered Stanley Dikcis, 31, of Niagara Falls, had an outstanding parole warrant.  Dikcis is charged with one count of petit larceny and was taken to the Erie County Holding Center and is being held without bail.
