Suspect in Couch Fire Arrested With Crack Pipe

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies arrested Sean Myers, 27 of West Seneca, after he allegedly entered a residence on Seneca Street in Elma, removed items, and set the pile on fire.

 

When Deputies arrived at the residence, they observed a couch and numerous items burning near the dwelling.  The complainant stated Myers made multiple trips into the residence bringing more items out and throwing them on the fire.

 

Deputies and Detective made contact with Myers inside the dwelling and observed a crack pipe with residue on a table.  Subsequently, Myers was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor count of arson, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

 

The defendant is held at the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment.
