Tools, Laptops, Cash, and Child Seat among Stolen Items

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies and Detectives are investigating a series of car larcenies that occurred this past weekend along South Protection Road in the Town of Holland.

The Sheriff’s office responded to six complaints of a subject or subjects entering eight separate vehicles and stealing tools, jewelry, cash, electronic devices, credit cards, and various other items.  Some of the vehicles were left unlocked and it is also believed a garage was entered during one of the incidents.

Sheriff Howard is urging people to remove all valuables from and to lock their vehicle, especially during the overnight hours.

Anyone with information about these incidents is urged to call the Erie County Sheriff’s Office at 716.858.2903.
