Semi Driver’s License Suspended For 27 Years 

Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the truck inspection unit was called to an incident on North Main Street in Holland Tuesday morning around 3:15.  Callers to the Sheriff’s dispatch reported hearing a loud explosion and a trailer was on fire.  When Deputies arrived, they observed a tire on the trailer had exploded and caused damage to a structure at 23 North Main Street.  

The Sheriff’s Commercial Truck Inspection Unit was called to continue the investigation and issued Henry Watson of Ontario, Canada a ticket for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.  The operator’s license was suspended since 1990 for failing to answer a summons in the Town of Pamelia in Jefferson County, New York. 

Additional charges could be added pending the completion of the investigation.
