SHERIFF HOWARD URGES BILLS FANS TO USE COURTESTY AND COMMON SENSE AT BILLS -VS- MIAMI NIGHT GAME

SHERIFF TIM HOWARD URGES COURTESY AND COMMON SENSE TO MAKE BILLS NIGHT GAME A SAFE ONE

Erie County Sheriff Tim Howard is reminding fans who are attending this Thursday’s Buffalo Bills night home game at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park, to heed the following suggestions in order to make it a safe event for everyone:

-Be on the lookout for stopped school busses while heading to stadium.

-Abbott Road between (20 & 20 A) will remain open until 4:30 P.M.

-All parking lots will open four hours prior to kickoff; and will remain open two hours after the end of the game.

-Tailgate responsibly - either in front or behind your vehicle; dispose of your trash properly; extinguish all fires, including grills, before leaving them.

-It is unlawful to block side streets or driveways when stopped in traffic; this creates grid lock and inconveniences everyone.

-Please do not drink and drive; use a designated driver.

-Wear some type of reflective gear so drivers can see you walking to and from the game.

-Try entering the gates at least one hour prior to kick off.

-Empty your pockets before the screening area.

-If you see any problems inside the stadium, call the Bills Hotline at 312-8933.

- Have fun but not at the expense of others.
