Sheriff Tim Howard makes an impassioned plea to the media to help tell the public about deadly dosages of fentanyl

August 23, 2013 - Sheriff Tim Howard makes an impassioned plea today to the media to help get the word out about deadly dosages of fentanyl out on the streets. This comes after our undercover narcotics detectives made 2 separate heroin purchases earlier this week, one of which involved pure fentanyl. Had this dosage been used it would have resulted in instant death, according to the Central Police Services Lab. 20 year old Angel Marcial of Arthur Street, Buffalo, was arrested in connection with these drug buys. After a search warrant was executed on the suspect's house, deputies seized a loaded .45 cal semi-automatic pistol, $4,600.00, 20 grams of suspected heroin, and a police scanner set to the Buffalo Police Department frequency. At the time of his arrest, Marcial was out on bail from a previous drug charge. To Sheriff Howard's right is Sr Detective Alan Rozansky
