SPRINGVILLE MAN ARRESTED IN TOWN OF CONCORD FOR RECKLESS DRIVING AND DWI

March 9, 2013- Town of Concord- Sheriff Tim Howard reports the early morning arrest of a Springville man for DWI following a one car injury accident.

Erie County Sheriff's Deputies Jason Bouton and James Flowers responded to Sharp Rd. near Genesee Rd. in the Town of Concord for a reported vehicle off the road and into a ditch.

Upon arrival, Deputies discovered that a vehicle driven by 21 y/o Timothy J. Geesey 11-7-91 of N. Buffalo St. in Springville had gone off the road and into a ditch causing severe damage to his vehicle and minor injury to himself and a male passenger. Both were taken by ambulance to Bertrand Chaffee Hospital for treatment of small lacerations and abrasions.

At the hospital upon further investigation and interview, it was determined that Geesey was intoxicated. Geesey was arrested and charged with DWI and numerous vehicle and traffic violations. Geesey refused all blood alcohol tests. Geesey was released at the hospital with an appearance ticket for the Town of Concord Court at a later date.
Geesey's vehicle was towed from the scene.

This was the 65th DWI arrest by the Erie County Sheriff's Office this year.
