ALDEN MAN ARRESTED ON VARIOUS DRUG CHARGES
Erie County Sheriff Tim Howard is announcing the arrest of a 42 year old Jesse P. Smith of Village Park Drive, Town of Alden, on the following charges: Criminal possession of narcotics with intent to sell (B) felony; Criminal possession of a controlled substance (Misdemeanor); and having a controlled substance not in its’ original container (Violation).
After a month long investigation by the Erie County Sheriff’s Narcotics squad, a search warrant was signed by Judge Robert Woods for the defendant’s residence on December 4, 2012. Recovered in Smith’s residence were ten (10) 30 mg Oxycodone; six (6) 8mg Dilaudid and three (3) Suboxone and packaging material.
Senior Detective Alan Rozansky of the Erie County Sheriff’s Office claimed Smith’s house was turned into a “village pharmacy”. “There was constant traffic coming and going at his home”, said Rozansky. “Buyers gathered in front of and in his home like ants”.
Detectives believe that Smith was going into the City of Buffalo and surrounding areas and bringing back drugs to his customers in the Village and Town of Alden.
