February 24-25, 2012 - City of Buffalo; Village of Springville, Village of Depew - Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of three local residents for various charges on unrelated traffic stops Friday night by Sheriff’s Road Patrols.
While on patrol in the City of Buffalo, Deputies Dan Harris and Mike Okal arrested Harrison T. Davis (33) of Buffalo and charged him with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and Marihuana Possession after stopping his vehicle on the Rt. 33 Expressway for Equipment violations. Davis had no driver’s license, only a learner’s permit which had nine suspensions on seven different dates on it. Davis was transported to the Holding Center for processing. He will be arraigned in Buffalo City Court on his charges at a later date.
While on patrol in Springville, Deputy Don Hoelscher arrested Christopher L. Thompson (27) of East Otto and charged him with Felony Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated and traffic infractions after stopping his vehicle for driving through the Stop sign at the corner of Park Street and Cochran Ave. A breath test revealed his blood alcohol level to be .21%. The felony charge was filed due to Thompson having a conviction for DWI in 2008. He was processed at the Springville Substation and released on appearance tickets for Springville Court.
While on patrol in Depew, Deputy Simon Biegasiewicz arrested Renee A. Wigdorski (35) of West Seneca and charged her with DWI and traffic infractions after stopping her car on Transit Road for Driving Without Headlights. A breath test revealed her blood alcohol content to be .13 %. She was processed at the Elma Substation and released on appearance tickets.
