TEEN BUSTED IN CLARENCE FOR DRIVING 93 MPH IN A 45 MPH ZONE & UNRELATED FELONY DWI IN CLARENCE

March 9, 2013- Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of two drivers by Sheriff’s Road Patrols early Saturday morning.

While patrolling in Clarence at about 1:25 am Deputy Simon Biegasiewicz arrested a 17 year-old Clarence resident for Reckless Driving on... Transit Road. He was pulled over for driving 93 mph in a 45 mph zone. The youth was released to the custody of his father to appear in court at a future date.

At approximately 4:10 a.m. Deputy Biegasiewicz arrested Kieschia S. Williams (29) of Rochester for Felony DWI and Felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation following another traffic stop on Transit Road. After failing multiple Standard Field Sobriety Tests she was taken to the Sheriff’s Clarence substation and processed for arrest. Her Blood Alcohol Content was .17%, more than twice the legal limit. The DWI was a felony because she has been previously convicted for DWI within the last 10 years. She was released to a sober third party to appear in Clarence Town Court at a future date.
