TWO HOLLAND MEN ARRESTED FOR BURGLARY/ATTEMPTED BURGLARY IN TOWN OF WALES
November 5, 20120 Erie County Sheriff Tim Howard is announcing the recent arrest and arraignment (November 2, 2012) of two Holland men for their role in a Town of Wales residential burglary and attempted burglary.
22 year old David Wylie of S. Protection Road, and 18 year old Brandon Kidder from Capital Heights Road, were arrested and charged with second degree burglary and petit larceny after they illegally entered a Warner Hill Road residence on the afternoon of October 23, 2012 and stole property including cash, coins and prescription drugs. Both suspects are also accused of attempting to enter a neighboring home a short while later with the intent of stealing, but were deterred when confronted by the homeowner.
Detectives Christian Parisi and Scott Piel made the arrests with the assistance of Deputies Thomas Was Jr. and Jason Weiss; their investigation lead to the recovery of some of the stolen property.
After his arraignment in the Town of Wales Court, Wylie was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center on $5,000.00 bail; Kidder was released on his own recognizance.
