• Emergency Services, 460 Main St, 2nd floor, may assist you with a one-time payment of essential home repair expenses if: (1) they are necessary for your health or safety (and you reside in the home), or (2) the repair is needed so that the property can continue to produce income (if not repaired, you won’t be able to rent out the space). 
• Along with other common documents needed for application, you’ll need to obtain 3 estimates from licensed, insured contractors.  You also need to provide any documentation of what caused the damage, as well as your current home-related bills, like mortgage, homeowner’s insurance, taxes, and water.   Finally, you need to bring proof that this specific repair is needed: (1) for the health or safety of you or your family who reside in the home, or (2) so that you can continue to collect rent from your tenant.
