Legislator Todaro announces virtual public meeting to discuss safety improvements to Pleasant View Drive in the Town of Lancaster

Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro is collaborating with the Town of Lancaster to host a virtual open house to review plans for potential sidewalks and/or bicycle lanes on Pleasant View Drive. The meeting will take place Wednesday, March 10 at 7 p.m. Meeting information here.

There are three proposals to construct sidewalks or bicycle lanes on Pleasant View from Transit Road to Pavement Road. Any member of the public is invited to attend and will have the opportunity to ask questions after a brief presentation.

Legislator Todaro said, “Keeping our children and communities safe is the biggest priority.  I have spoken with many residents about the need for safety enhancements on Pleasant View Road and share their concerns.  Each of the proposals aims to improve the road for both bicyclists and pedestrians. I look forward to being part of the meeting and encourage everyone in the neighborhood participate in the discussion. It’s important everyone has an opportunity to weigh in on this project.”
