Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro

Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro recently celebrated Mom and Pop Business Owners Day by presenting a proclamation to Kustom Workz, a full-service motorcycle dealership and mobile electronics sales and installation facility in Depew. Owner Mike Penfold also offers remote car starters, alarm systems, vinyl wrapping, custom lighting and much more.

Mom and Pop Business Owners Day is celebrated on March 29 in Erie County. The day is used as an opportunity to celebrate the family-owned businesses that make American communities diverse and vibrant.

Mike Penfield founded Kustom Workz in 2004. Since then, the business has grown into a Moto Guzzi, Aprilia and MV Augusta dealership. Years later, Kustom Workz offers more automobile, marine and motorsport customization services than any other shop in Western New York and is nationally-recognized as one of the most inclusive and fastest-growing shops in the business.

Legislator Todaro said, “I want to thank small business owner Mike Penfold for his contribution to Erie County as well as the Western New York community! Small businesses are the backbone of this country and I wish you decades of success in the years to come!”
