Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro recently volunteered with the Lancaster Youth Bureau for their Easter Assistance Program to ensure families in the Lancaster/Depew school district have an opportunity to celebrate Easter Sunday.

Each family who signed up received a large bag of food for Easter supper and candy baskets for children ages 12 and under. Legislator Todaro helped youth bureau volunteers hand out supplies at a special drive through event Tuesday morning.

Legislator Todaro said, “Thank you to everyone at the Lancaster Youth Bureau for organizing such a meaningful event to help those in need. Their generosity will make sure dozens of families have food on the table this Easter, and kids won’t have to go without treats from the Easter bunny. Members of our community are always looking out for one another and that’s part of what makes it a truly special place. It was an honor to volunteer for this year’s Easter assistance event and I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.”
