Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro

Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro recently honored Depew American Legion’s Post 1528 for its hard work and efforts to complete a Middle East Conflict Memorial Monument.

Depew American Legion Post 1528 Middle East Conflict Memorial Monument is located at Veteran’s Park in the Village of Depew and was completed by the Village of Depew Department of Public Works. Complete funding for the project was provided by the Post.

Legislator Todaro said, “The Depew American Legion Post 1528 was founded back in 1946 and currently serves over 190 members of the community—it is wonderful to know that there is an organization who works tirelessly to provide services for our veterans. The Post’s Middle East Conflict Memorial Monument is a wonderful tribute and I want to thank everyone who was involved in bringing it to fruition. This memorial is a reminder that we will never forget that our courageous men and women died fighting for the freedoms we have today.”
