Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro recently honored Vintage Grace, an antique, consignment and home décor shop in Lancaster. Legislator Todaro presented a proclamation to owner Grace Lewandowski who opened the shop back in December of 2012.

The Central Avenue store has two floors of items open for consignment, works with over 50 vendors and has 60 showcases available for rent. Lewandowski believes in helping members of the community in need and offers a charity display case each month, free of charge, to any organization that is fundraising and needs a way to showcase their items. As a result, all of the proceeds from the items sold in the display case are given directly to the organization.

Vintage Grace has helped numerous organizations including the Lancaster Football team, the American Red Cross, Variety Club, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Tabby Town and many others.

Legislator Todaro said, “Grace Lewandowski had a vision for Vintage Grace when she first opened in 2012. Community, kindness and compassion were the key players in creating such a successful small business. Nearly nine years later, she has made a lasting impact on everyone who comes in contact with her. Thank you, Grace, for the generosity you show toward everyone around you.”

Vintage Grace is part of Legislator Todaro’s new social media effort “Small Business Spotlight Saturday” highlighting small businesses throughout the 8th legislative district.
