Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro

Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro recently honored Michael Brown, a Town of Lancaster resident, and The UPS Store located on Broadway Street in the D&L Plaza for being a valued and trusted small business and helping businesses succeed for almost 30 years.

In 1992, Michael Brown opened a Mailboxes, Etc. franchise in 1992 which began as a convenient alternative to the post office. In 2003, all Mailboxes Etc. locations rebranded themselves as The UPS Store.

Michael Brown’s inspiration for owning The UPS Store came from his desire to serve people who work out of their homes and their need for many business services such as packing, shipping, freight, postal, printing and business services.

Legislator Todaro said, “Michael Brown has been serving the Lancaster and Depew area for decades, easing the burden on many residents and local small businesses. I want to send a big thank you to Brown for working to build a successful franchise and having a hands-on approach in the community.”
