Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro recently honored the Whistle Stop Inn for its dedicated service to the local community with famous Friday night dinners.

The Whistle Stop Inn is a family-owned and operated dinner and banquet facility located at 1338 Exchange Street in the Village of Alden. The Inn has been owned by Doug and Terry Becker since 1983 and has become a staple in the community for its Friday night dinners and a place for members of the community to come together and share a meal.

The Whistle Stop Inn is transitioning to focus on banquets, catering and hosting groups so its last Friday night dinner service will be held on November 12th

Legislator Todaro said, “The Whistle Stop Inn has been the place to be on Friday nights for several decades and I am sad to see its Friday night dinners come to an end, but ecstatic to see the success that will surely follow! I urge everyone to visit the Whistle Stop Inn on November 12th for one last Friday night dinner! Best of luck to Doug and Terry Becker—I wish you nothing but the best!”
