Due to a broken valve in the water distribution system on Tuesday morning, residents of the Village will experience discolored water. The water has been tested and been found free from bacteria and other contaminants. Hydrant flushing is being used to move the discolored water from the pipes, and results are already starting to show in some residences. As hydrants are systematically opened, different areas of the Village may experience the discolored water where there had not been any earlier. The Village offices understand the frustrations of the residents and are working as swiftly as possible to restore clean water to the Village. Should you need to contact someone in our Public Works Department, the phone number is (716)542-2680.
