Alden Highway Department Winter Policy
As it is time for cold weather and snow, the Highway Department is busy preparing our trucks for the roads to be safe to our community.
The Department would like to remind residents that plowing driveway snow onto a rosd is illegal, under the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law Section 1219. Parking on the roads is prohibited on the Town and County roads from November 1st to April 1st from 2am to 6am, under Section 18C-31 of the Town of Alden Codes.
