Buffalo Man To Be Arraigned on Murder Charge

Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 25 year old Jamie R. Galarza of 23 St. Stephens, Buffalo, will be arraigned at 11:00 a.m. before Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller on an indictment charging him with Murder in the Second Degree.

It is alleged that on October 12, 2013 outside 49 Euclid Place, Buffalo, Galarza murdered 21 year old Devonte Johnson of 163 Bennett Village, Buffalo, by stabbing him.   

If convicted of this crime Galarza faces a maximum prison sentence of 25 years to life.   Like all defendants accused of a crime, Galarza is legally presumed to be innocent until his guilt is proven in a court of law.
