Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 30 year-old Maurice Brice of 65 Person Street, Buffalo, will be arraigned at 9:30 a.m. before County Court Judge Sheila A. DiTullio on an indictment charging him with Burglary in the Second Degree, Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree and Intimidating a Victim or Witness in the Third Degree.

It is alleged that on March 26, 2012 Brice burglarized a home in Buffalo and stole $23,000.00.  It is further alleged that on July 1, 2013, Brice warned the victim not to testify and fired two shots at her in an effort to intimate her.

If convicted of these crimes Brice faces a maximum prison sentence of 30 years.  Like all defendants accused of a crime, Brice is legally presumed to be innocent until his guilt is proven in a court of law.
