Buffalo Man Charged in Stabbing Death on Titus Street in December

District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announces that 37 year-old Wayne Wilson of 2008 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, was arraigned on a sealed indictment charging him with the one count of Murder in the Second Degree before Senior Erie County Court Judge Michael L. D’Amico.

It is alleged that on December 17, 2014, on Titus Street in the City of Buffalo, Wilson murdered 62 year-old Lewis Browning of 906 Smith Street, Buffalo, by stabbing him. 

If convicted of this crime, Wilson faces a maximum prison sentence of 25 years-to-life in state prison.  Wilson also has a pending indictment for Robbery in the First Degree, a crime for which he can be sentenced to another 25 years in state prison if convicted. 

Like all defendants accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
