Buffalo Man Pleads Guilty to Rape and Robbery Convictions

Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 27 year old Curlie Green of 42 Bissell Street, Buffalo pleaded, as charged, to Rape in the First Degree, Three Counts of Robbery in the Second Degree and Robbery in the Third Degree before Supreme Court Justice John L. Michalski. These are the highest charges for which Green could have been convicted had he gone to trial. 

Green admitted that he robbed four different women within a two week period in October, 2011 in the vicinity of Genesee and Doat Streets in Buffalo.  He also admitted raping a 17 year old woman at gunpoint who was waiting for a bus at Genesee and Moselle on October 31, 2011.        

Green faces a maximum prison sentence of 25 years when he is sentenced on October 25, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. before Justice Michalski.  Green has been remanded pending sentencing.
