Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita III announced that 40 year-old David Anderson of 8264 Weaver Road, Fillmore, New York will be arraigned at 9:30 a.m. before Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller on an indictment charging him with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree.

It is alleged that on May 30, 2013, while driving his truck the wrong way down a City of Buffalo street in search of a prostitute, Anderson illegally possessed two loaded pistols . A search of the truck also produced a silencer, a pair of handcuffs, a knife, .50 caliber ammunition (typically used in machine guns and sniper rifles), and over 180 rounds of different and additional ammunition.

If convicted of these crimes, Anderson faces a maximum prison sentence of 15 years.  Like all defendants accused of a crime, Anderson is legally presumed to be innocent until his guilt is proven in a court of law.
