Florida Man Extradited to Buffalo to Face Murder Charges

District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announces that 20 year-old Jonathan Roman of 5540 James Street, New Port Richey, Florida was arraigned this morning on a sealed indicted before County Court Judge Michael Pietruszka charging him with Murder in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree. 

It is alleged that on November 23, 2014 at 36 Hudson Street in Buffalo, Roman murdered 21 year-old Cesar Ramirez-Davila of 36 Hudson Street, Buffalo, by shooting him.  Roman was apprehended in New Port Richey, Florida and extradited to New York State. 

If convicted of this crime, Roman faces a maximum prison sentence of 25 years to life. 

Like all defendants accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
