Husband and Wife Plead Guilty to Grand Larceny for Stealing from PTO

Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 52 year old Elizabeth Losardo and 45 year old Daniel Losardo (husband and wife) each pleaded, as charged, to Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree before County Court Judge Kenneth F. Case. These are the highest charges for which they could have been convicted had they gone to trial. 

During the period July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2012, Elizabeth Losardo was the treasurer for the Orchard Park Middle School Parent Teacher Organization.  By virtue of this position of financial trust, Elizabeth Losardo had access to the PTO’s bank account.  During the period February 1, 2011 through May 19, 2012, Elizabeth Losardo and Daniel Losardo, while acting in concert with each other, stole from the PTO’s account a total of $29,532.  Defendants have made full restitution.     

Elizabeth Losardo and Daniel Losardo both face a maximum prison sentence of 4 years when they are sentenced on March 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. before Judge Case.
