Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 29 year old Robert Leary pleaded, as charged, to two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and one count of Aggravated Harassment, before Town of Tonawanda Justice J. Mark Gruber. These are the highest charges for which Leary could have been convicted had he gone to trial.

Between June 2011 and December 2011, Leary, who was previously employed as a Ken/Ton School District middle-school baseball coach, sent inappropriate and sexually suggestive text messages to three juveniles and requested sexual images from them.

Leary faces a maximum prison sentence of 1 year in prison when he is sentenced before the Hon. J. Mark Gruber on October 14, 2012.
