Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced today that an Erie County Grand Jury has indicted Ali-Mohamad Mohamud for Murder in the Second Degree. It is alleged that the defendant caused the death of Abdifatah Mohamud, his ten year-old step-son, by beating him. If convicted of this crime, Muhamud faces a maximum prison sentence of 25 years to life.  Arraignment is scheduled for June 5, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. before State Supreme Court Christopher Burns.
