Man Charged With Murder in Shooting at Getty Gas Station in Buffalo

Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 23 year old Charles Tubbins of 1830 Kenmore Avenue, Buffalo, was arraigned this morning before Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller on an indictment charging him with Two Counts of Murder in the Second Degree, two counts of Attempted Robbery in the First Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree.

It is alleged that on November 10, 2012 while in the course of a robbery at the Getty Gas Station and Convenience Store, 595 Ontario Street, Buffalo, Tubbins fatally shot 24 year old Rashiene Carson.

If convicted of these crimes Tubbins faces a maximum prison sentence of 25 years to life.
