Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced today that Acting Supreme Court Justice John L. Michalski sentenced 40 year-old John Black to 50 years to life in state prison, in connection with his May 11, 2012 trial conviction for two counts of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child, two counts of Incest in the First Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Black’s convictions stem from his repeated acts of anal sodomy against an 8 year old child. The case was tried by Rosanne E. Johnson, Chief of the Special Victims Bureau and Peter J. Marche, Assistant District Attorney.
