Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 41 year old Theresa Bryant of Esser Street, Buffalo, pleaded guilty before County Court Judge Thomas P. Franczyk to Tampering with a Witness in the Fourth Degree. 

Bryant admitted that on August 31, 2012, she tried to dissuade a key prosecution witness from testifying against her son, Darius Bryant. 

Darius Bryant pled guilty on October 9, 2012 to Attempted Burglary in the Second Degree for burglarizing his aunt’s home on Esser Street in Buffalo and will be sentenced on November 8, 2012 by Judge Franczyk. 

Bryant faces a maximum prison sentence of 1 year in prison when she is sentenced before the Hon. Thomas Franczyk on January 16, 2013 at 9:30 a.m.
