District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announces that 21 year-old Bernard Roberson of Buffalo was arraigned this morning before Erie County Court Judge Thomas P. Franczyk on a sealed indictment charging him with Murder in the Second Degree.

It is alleged that on May 2, 2014 at 15 Schmarbeck Avenue in the City of Buffalo, Roberson murdered 38 year old Jason Ramirez by shooting him. 

If convicted of this crime, Roberson faces a maximum prison sentence of 25 years to life. 

Like all defendants accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
