Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced today that 26 year old Alfred Tatman of 5378 Big Tree Road, Orchard Park, pleaded guilty as charged before Supreme Court Justice Penny M. Wolfgang to eight counts of Burglary in the Third Degree.  These are the highest charges for which the defendant could have been convicted had he gone to trial.

Tatman admitted that he and his accomplices, Kevin Zimmerman and Jeffrey Zimmerman, burglarized eight businesses throughout Amherst, Clarence, Newstead, and Akron between November 17, 2012 and December 8, 2012.  The businesses included DiCamillo Bakery, Excuria Salon, Bridal Chateau, Dusty Road Automotive, Village Auto, Bubble Boy Car Wash, Ohlson’s Bakery, and Town and Country Florist.

The case was successfully prosecuted by ADA Paul Bonanno, Chief of DA Sedita’s Felony Trial Bureau.

Tatman faces a maximum sentence of 50 years in state prison when he is sentenced before Justice Wolfgang on June 7, 2013 at 9:30 a.m.  Kevin Zimmerman and Jeffrey Zimmerman’s cases are pending.
